Terms
Last updated 28 October 2026. These terms are between you and Pluto Coach Ltd ("Pluto", "we"), London, United Kingdom, the company that makes Warden. They cover the Warden desktop app, the Warden mobile app, Warden Team and this website. How we handle data is in our privacy policy.
The short version
- The free edition of Warden is free for any work, commercial included. It comes as it is, with no warranty, and we accept no liability for it as far as the law allows.
- Warden helps you control what coding agents do, but you stay responsible for what you let them run.
- Warden Team is a paid service. Your company's order or agreement with us applies to it; where there is none, the Warden Team section below does.
Using Warden
You may install and use Warden on your own computers, for personal or commercial work. Do not resell it, remove its licence checks, or use it to break the law or attack others' systems. Parts of Warden are open-source software under their own licences; nothing here limits your rights under those licences.
Agents, models and your work
Warden runs coding agents and checks their actions against the policies you or your company set. Policies reduce risk; they cannot guarantee that every harmful action is stopped. You decide which agents and models to connect, what you approve, and what reaches your systems. Keep backups and review changes before they reach production.
Your model provider and the agents you connect (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Claude Code or Codex) are separate services under their own terms. Your code, prompts and outputs stay yours.
The free edition: no warranty, no liability
The free edition is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent the law allows, Pluto is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the free edition or this website, including lost data, lost profits, damage to systems, or the actions of agents or models you ran with it.
Warden Team
Warden Team is provided under your company's order or agreement with us. Where nothing else is agreed in writing: we provide the service with reasonable care and skill; fees are as quoted and are not refundable for a period already started; either side may end the service at the end of a paid period; and our total liability for Warden Team in any 12 months is limited to the fees your company paid us in those 12 months. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Your company decides who has a seat and what its policies are, and is responsible for its members' use.
What these terms never limit
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
Changes, ending and the law
We may update Warden and these terms; we will change the date at the top and, for changes that matter to Warden Team customers, tell them in advance. You can stop using Warden at any time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute.
